SMOKING BAN -
On July 1st 2007
'No smoking' legislation was implemented in England.
"It will be
against the law to smoke, or let others smoke, in virtually all enclosed
public places and workplaces".
A requirement of the
legislation requires the display of no smoking signage to be suitably
displayed for staff and visitors where the legislation is in force.
"Premises and vehicles that are required to be smoke free under the law
will be required to have no-smoking signs in place at each entrance,
displayed in a prominent position" - the sign must display "the
international no smoking symbol and the text - [No smoking. It is against
the law to smoke in these premises].
